Creating Music with Computers at McGregor Public Library

East Central Regional Library invites students of all grade levels and adults to an entertaining performance starring George Maurer and his presentation, “Creating Music with Computers,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at the McGregor Public Library.

Maurer is a performer, composer and producer, and he has toured the country to illustrate the impact on music in today’s culture while using today’s technology to enhance appreciation for the arts. Using his keyboard, microphone, and visual display, he shows how music is composed using computers and digital technology for albums, movie soundtracks, television shows, video games, and more.

This program is sponsored by East Central Regional Library and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
