Account email confusion

Yesterday afternoon the company that hosts our online catalog and patron accounts restarted their report function. In doing so, it sent out e-mails from long, long ago that were initially supposed to have been sent, but were not. If you should receive an email that says someone tried to access your account (in the case of password resets), an e-mail that might be for item(s) you’re not expecting, or overdue/lost items fees, please know that it is likely the result of this report function restart. Staff can verify the status of your account to confirm holds and/or fines.

The company is aware that the restart created this problem, and it should not happen again.  We apologize for the inconvenience and concern that this has caused.
