Tax season for filing returns begins on February 12 and runs through May 17.
Tax forms are now available online. East Central Regional Library has compiled online tax resources for you here. You may request paper federal forms and instructions be mailed to you on the Forms & Publications by U.S. Mail page on the IRS.gov website.
Library staff can assist with locating and printing online tax forms but are not able to give advice regarding the forms that you might need to file your taxes or with filling out tax forms.
Libraries will receive paper copies of the Form 1040, Form 1040-SR, and the 1040 and 1040-SR Instructions in both English and Spanish-language.

Tax Assistance through AARP will be offering appointment-only assistance at the Aitkin, Chisago Lakes and North Branch libraries. Dates are tentative:
