Resource Librarian, Headquarters, Cambridge, MN:  Full time exempt position. 

Required:  MLS/MLIS.  One or more years relevant experience.  Ability to travel within six county region.  Up to date technology skills.

Preferred:  Collection development experience; Previous supervisory experience; Above average communication skills; Excellent customer service skills; Demonstrated ability and willingness to work collaboratively.

Compensation:  $40,185.60 – $56,284.80 DOQ.  Competitive benefits package including employer paid health insurance.

The Resource Librarian oversees and facilitates access to resources in all formats provided by East Central Regional Library.  Oversees collection budget.  Supervises and coordinates interlibrary loan staff and service.  Provides reference service and training for public and staff.

Job description


Branch Library Assistant, potential multiple locations (see below): A High School Degree or GED is required, and Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. $11.41/hr starting. Applications are accepted for listed positions until they are filled.

Applicants should be available any hours branch is open, including evenings and weekends. Positions have minimal scheduled hours, plus additional irregular hours as needed. See branch open hours.

The Branch Library Assistant is responsible for the clerical operations of the automated library circulation system.  The assistant is also responsible for the operation of a branch library, under the direction of the Branch Librarian.  Ability to work courteously and effectively with other employees and the public; ability to read, comprehend and orally communicate English; ability to be tactful and adept in dealing with a wide variety of people; ability to interpret library policies, resources, and services to others. Candidate must have good technology skills.
