Branch Librarian II, Chisago City, MN (Chisago Lakes Area Library)– $18.76/hr starting. 40 hrs/wk. Benefits including health insurance (single coverage premium paid by employer), dental, vision, HSA, PTO, PERA. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Completed master’s degree in library science preferred.
The Branch Librarian II is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Chisago Lakes Area Library. Ideal candidate has experience in providing excellent library customer service and programming to all ages, above average technology skills to help others with computer devices, and a passion for finding information and recommending engaging reading.

The Branch Library Assistant is responsible for the clerical operations of the automated library circulation system. The assistant is also responsible for the operations of a branch library, under the direction of the Branch Librarian. Ability to work courteously and effectively with other employees and the public; ability to read, comprehend and orally communicate English; ability to be tactful and adept in dealing with a wide variety of people; ability to interpret library policies, resources, and services to others. Candidate must have good technology skills.
