East Central Regional Library’s mission statement is to strengthen communities by connecting people with resources, spaces, and educational experiences that enrich and empower their lives. Every one of the 80 employees and countless volunteers who bring library service in our 14 branches and 8 outreach sites are committed to this mission.
You can help support East Central Regional Library by donating money, books, and time.
Your gift to East Central Regional Library helps us serve the community above and beyond what tax-based funding provides. Thanks to donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations, we can provide more and better resources and collections for all ages.

A great way to support your library and clean-up your home bookshelves is to donate your used books and other materials. Staff will determine if the material will be added to the shared library collection, recycled, or sold in a book sale to benefit the library. Friends of the Library volunteer groups have been established in many East Central Regional Library locations, which operate book sales either on an ongoing or occasional basis. Proceeds from the sales help sponsor projects and activities not covered by East Central Regional Library’s operating budget.
