Yesterday afternoon the company that hosts our online catalog and patron accounts restarted their report function. In doing so, it sent out e-mails from long, long ago that were initially supposed to have been sent, but were not. If you should receive an email that says someone tried to access your account (in the case of password resets), an e-mail that might be for item(s) you’re not expecting, or overdue/lost items fees, please know that it is likely the result of this report function restart. Staff can verify the status of your account to confirm holds and/or fines.
The company is aware that the restart created this problem, and it should not happen again. We apologize for the inconvenience and concern that this has caused.
Due to staffing issues, the Mille Lacs Lake Community Library in Isle will not be open today, Saturday March 9. We apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to welcoming patrons on Monday, as usual.
Winter is at it again! Programs this evening may be canceled due to the snow and poor road conditions. Please contact the branch regarding programming before heading out. If canceled, programs will be rescheduled. Watch the events calendar for updates.
UPDATE: Service for phone and internet have been restored.
Phone and internet service at our Sandstone and Hinckley locations are currently down, although both branches will open as usual at 10:00.
We are working to restore access, but in the meantime, please know that you can reach staff at our other locations by phone and they will be happy to assist you.
You can also contact us in person, by Ask a Librarian via chat, Contact form, and Facebook.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
