Books wrapped in brown paper with text that reads blind date with a book

Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date with a Book is back! Valentine’s season is upon us, so why not go on a date WITH A BOOK?!

How does it work, you ask?

1. Pick up your blind date (a wrapped book) from the display table in our Cambridge, North Branch, Pine City, or Rush City libraries.

2. Read at least 50 pages of the book. (Or the whole thing, if you’re enjoying it!)

3. Fill out the “Rate Your Date” slip so we know how your date went.

4. Return all of your completed “Rate Your Date” slips to the library by February 28th to be entered into a drawing to win fun prizes!

Please note, if you pick up your blind date from the Rush City Public Library, you can choose to keep the book if you’d like! All of the books being used for this program at that location have been donated. If you pick up your blind date from the Cambridge, North Branch, or Pine City libraries you’ll have the normal 3 week checkout time for each of your blind dates.

One final thing! We’d love to see photos of you with your blind date- Tag us on Facebook and Instagram @ecrlmn.
