Check Out ECRL’s New Event Calendar

Looking for a Lego club for your kids to attend?  The next author event at a nearby library?  Or perhaps a book club to join?  It is now much easier for you to find out what is going on at any of the 14 ECRL branches and Outreach with the implementation of our new events calendar.  Simply visit the website and click on Events Calendar in the upper right hand corner of the page.
You’ll see a brand new calendar that gives you several options to search for what you are looking for.  Whether you want to search by type of event (i.e. author visit, storytime, book clubs and more) or by age group (i.e. adults, preschool, etc.) or by location (all 14 ECRL branches, Outreach), you now have the option.  You can narrow your search as much as you’d like by using the drop-down menus.
Once you’ve chosen your options, hit search and your results will appear on the calendar.  You can also simply search month by month and click on any of the events listed on a specific date.  When you click on a certain event, a window will open that will list more information including the date, time, location, description of the event, registration information (if needed) and more.
We hope that this new tool will make it much easier for everyone searching for what is being offered every day at all the East Central Regional Library branches.  Plus remember you can always call your local ECRL branch and staff will be able to provide you with more information as well.
Try out the new events calendar and take a glimpse at all the different programming being offered.  New events and programs are being added each day.  So check back periodically in case you missed something!  Check out the new events calendar on our website (ecrlib.org).  Take advantage of this wonderful new tool and learn about all the exciting things that are happening throughout the East Central Regional Library system.
