Five middle school girls from Girl Scout Troop 16763 (Twin Cities area) were looking for a community-based project to earn the Bronze Award, the highest leadership award a Junior Scout can achieve. The troop discovered the Mora Public Library could use a new play and learn space.
Last week the library welcomed three of the Girl Scouts who helped install a new dress up/costume cabinet for children. (Pictured from left: Ida, Saphira and Ashlyn.) The troop gathered the materials and built the cabinet themselves. The Scouts contributed their own costumes and accessories to fill the cabinet.
Thank you, Ali, Ashlyn, Ida, Olivia, and Saphira from Girl Scout Troop 16763!
