Meeting Spaces

Meeting space availability varies by branch.

Only groups that allow free and equal access to their meetings will be allowed use of the room. Participants may not be charged to attend meetings, and no goods or services may be sold. Please review the Community Meeting Room Policy prior to requesting a space.

Cambridge

Two meeting rooms available –The Great Northern Room (occupancy 317) and the Opportunity Room (occupancy: 84 standing, 24 seated) are available to rent (conferencing screens available). There is a $20/hr charge for for-profit groups; $10/hr fee for non-profit 501(c)3 organizations. Additionally there is an $100 damage deposit fee for groups. Governmental entities may use the room at no hourly charge. Rooms may not be scheduled more than 60 days in advance. Scroll to the bottom of this page to fill out the meeting room request form. There are also 6 study rooms (four with collaborative tech) that are available to be reserved up to 60 days in advance or first come, first served each day. Reservations for the library meeting room are handled by the City of Mora. Contact them for policy details and availability at 320-679-1511.

Meeting room available. No charge for non-profit groups. For profit groups may rent room at $25/hr. Non-governmental organizations are subject to a refundable $100 damage deposit. Two study rooms are available; first come, first serve.

Princeton

Meeting room available. Credit card must be put on file during booking for all groups (in case of excessive cleaning required or damage). Non-profit and for profit groups may rent the room at $15/hr. Rooms may not be scheduled more than 90 days in advance. Groups are limited to 12 consecutive weeks at one time in a calendar year OR a total of 25 days per calendar year. Please note: room keys will need to be picked up at the front desk during library open hours.

Sandstone

Two meeting rooms are available, the Kettle River Community Room (capacity 125) and the Mary Thorvig Conference Room (capacity 19). No charge for non-profit groups. For profit groups may rent room at $20/hr for the first hour and $10/hr after that. Rooms may not be scheduled more than 90 days in advance. Two study rooms available; first come, first served. Contact the branch directly for the full policy and to book the room, or submit your request via the form below. Branch staff will follow-up to complete the reservation.
