Milaca Resources and Coronavirus (March 20, 2020)

Mille Lacs County Courthouse

  • All Mille Lacs County buildings and facilities closed to the public until further notice, effective March 17
    • Those with court cases scheduled in Mille Lacs County District Court between March 16, 2020 and March 30, 2020 are instructed to call (320) 983-8313 ​to determine if the case will be heard or scheduled to a future date.

Milaca City Hall

  • Milaca City Hall, City of Milaca Offices, Public Works Utilities Facilities, Public Library, and Museum closed to the public, effective March 18
    • City and utility business will be conducted via the City’s website, phone, mail, and email
      • Staff will be present and available by phone or email
      • Make use of the drop box outside the front door for correspondence and payments
        • Payments can also be made via Direct Payment, by credit card, or over the phone
        • All city applications and forms are available online at https://www.cityofmilaca.org.forms
          • Forms can be downloaded, filled out, and mailed, emailed, or dropped off at the City of Milaca Offices, 255 1st Street East, Milaca, MN 56353
        • Contact information for the City of Milaca remains the same
        • Municipal Liquor Store will remain open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Milaca Clinic (M Health Fairview – Milaca location)

  • Drive-up testing centers closed effective March 18.
  • Enhanced visitor restrictions at all locations
  • Elective, non-urgent surgeries postponed at all M Health Fairview locations, effective March 18
  • Virtual screening continues to be available through OnCare.org, the 24/7 online clinic.

  • Operating as usual
  • Increased focus on keeping stores clean
    • Wiping down bathrooms and commonly contacted surfaces at least every 60 minutes
    • Temporarily discontinuing food sampling
    • Reallocating labor hours to cleaning and sanitation efforts
    • Discontinuing use of refillable mugs and cups
      • Customers are asked to utilize disposable cups
    • Hand sanitizer available at the gas pumps and in-store

  • Increased focus on keeping stores clean
    • All seating areas in stores closed (not relevant at Milaca location)
    • Encouraging online payment for takeout to reduce person-to-person contact at pick-up
    • Currently suspending refills of refillable cups and mugs

    • Waived $3.00 delivery fee
    • Extended delivery range to 8 miles
    • Encouraging payment over the phone
      • Can also pay with cash upon delivery or with cash or credit card upon pick-up

Timber Valley Grille

  • Dining room closed, effective March 17
  • Open for take-out orders every day from 11-8pm; full regular menu (no breakfast) available
    • Call (320) 362-3110 to place order. Pay by credit or debit card when placing order
    • Staff will let you know an approximate time until your order is complete and you may pick it up in the entryway of our building
