Night at the Library: History Comes Alive

Meet President Theodore Roosevelt and a soldier from the Vietnam War … along with the men portraying them … by way of two extraordinary rides through American history.
First up, East Central Regional Library is pleased to welcome back Minnesota living history speaker Arn Kind for a presentation on one of the most fascinating yet controversial eras in the history of our nation and world. In the uniform of a typical American soldier, Kind presents Minnesota in the Vietnam War at the Cambridge Public Library on Tuesday, May 7; Pine City Public Library on Thursday, May 16; and Mille Lacs Lake Community Library in Isle on Thursday, May 30. All programs start at 6 p.m.
Also returning is Minnesotan Adam Lindquist whose award-winning impersonation of the 26th president of the United States inspires people around the nation. The program, called Being Teddy, is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 at East Central Regional Library – Chisago Lakes.
Both events are recommended for all ages. No registration necessary.
These programs are funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
