ECRL Reads: Spotlight on the iron barons of Minnesota

Learn about the magnates of the Minnesota Iron Range in a historical presentation by Dale Blanshan at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Hinckley Public Library. Hear some familiar names and others that might surprise you.
Blanshan, of Rochester, Minnesota, describes himself a man with a penchant for stories from days gone by. In his travels to southern Minnesota, northern Iowa, eastern Wisconsin and the far reaches of eastern North Dakota, Blanshan enjoys sharing historical stories with libraries, historical societies, senior living sites and other places.
