program & author visit proposals

This form is for authors or other performers who wish to be considered to present a program at any East Central Regional Library branch.

Community members who wish to suggest ideas for a program should reach out to their local branch librarian.

East Central Regional Library (ECRL) welcomes community members, performers, authors and artists of all media/formats/backgrounds to submit their proposed programs.

Library programs promote literacy and the collection, technology, cultural and arts diversity, and the library’s services and resources. Programs and events are planned to provide lifelong opportunities and to respond to the needs and interests of people of all ages, families, groups and local communities.

How To Submit A Proposal For A Program Or Author Visit:

Please review the following information and then submit your proposal online using the webform below. You will only be contacted if the program meets our guidelines and fits into our programming needs, schedule, and budget. Due to volume, we are unable to respond to all program submissions.

Scheduling Timeline:

Planning and publicity for library programs is done at least 3 months in advance but can range from 3 months to 12 months in advance.
