If you put the word Storytelling and the word Origami together, you get Storigami. Join us for a fun fill Zoom meeting where we will use our imaginations as paper artist, Kathleen Sheridan, folds paper and shapes become a story. The second time the story is told, we’ll ask you to provide the supply kit we provide and get a paper so you can fold along with Kathleen to make your own model. The story will help to remind you of what to do next. Hopefully you will be able to recall the story and the folding in the future!
Recommended for youth entering preschool or elementary alongside their adult who can help out with technology issues or difficult folds. Registration is required on our events calendar, registration is open from now until Thursday, July 23rd at 8:30 p.m. or until registration fills. Once you register, an e-mail confirmation will be sent Friday, July 24th. Then kits will be delivered to the East Central Regional location of your choice, please wait for notification that your kit has arrived before making arrangements to pick it up. Limited to two kits per household. Kits will contain all the supplies necessary to complete the project.
On Thursday, July 30th at 10:30 a.m. we’ll all come together via ZOOM to hear Kathleen tell the stories and tech us the folds. Details and meeting invitation will be sent on Friday, July 24th.
