New Kids and Teen OverDrive websites

Introduce your kids and teens to East Central Regional Library’s Kids and Teen Collections of digital titles!

East Central Regional Library has expanded its services with new digital library experiences just for kids and teens. The main digital collection, which can be accessed by the East Central Regional Library collection in the OverDrive app or by visiting http:/, now offers a way to provide safe and easy browsing experiences just for kids and teens.

The Kids collection filters the digital site to only show Children’s content, and the Teen collection filters the digital site to only show Young Adult content.  This filtering gets kids and teens to the titles they want faster!  These appealing and user-friendly collections contain eBooks and eAudiobooks, including popular titles such as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney.

Kids and teens need a safe environment to browse the library. Just as children and teens have their own sections of the physical branch libraries, now they too have their own section of the ECRL Digital Library!

These new age-friendly digital spaces are free to use with an ECRL library card and password. Digital titles are available anytime, anywhere and expire automatically, with no late fees.

Final Week of SYNC 2016

Our final week of this year’s SYNC Audiobook program is here. Thanks for participating in SYNC all summer long!  We hope you’ve enjoyed the pairings.

Bone Gap by Laura Rubybone-gap-97140-sync2016-2400x2400

Everyone knows Bone Gap is full of gaps. So when young, beautiful Roza went missing, the people of Bone Gap weren’t surprised. After all, it wasn’t the first time that someone had slipped away and left Finn and Sean O’Sullivan on their own. Just a few years ago, their mother hightailed it to Oregon for a brand-new guy, a brand-new life. Finn knows what really happened to Roza. He knows she was kidnapped by a dangerous man whose face he cannot remember. But the searches turn up nothing, and no one believes him anymore. Not even Sean, who has more reason to find Roza than anyone and every reason to blame Finn for letting her go.
