Ready to have some fun on a hot summer day? Adam Levy and his two daughters take pop music and make it kid-friendly. Join us on Monday, July 24 at the Cambridge Public Library at 10:30 am and at the Chisago Lakes Area Library at 2:00 pm. Hear such songs as Potatoes with Problems and 3 Dogs and a Pancake from this musical family group. It’s family friendly entertainment for the whole family.

Kids ages 5-11 can learn how to create a castle pop-out book with the Minnesota Center for Book Arts at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 20 at the Pine City Public Library. Ages 12 through adult can count on the North Branch Area Library for an event that will challenge you to think creatively as you explore depth perspective with text and image. Teens are invited to learn about henna tattoos including a demonstration on how to mix henna and some basic designs during a special presentation at the Chisago Lakes Area Library.
Instructor Kristin Johnson will present her henna tattoo workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18. If time allows, she will demonstrate henna tattoo on participants. Those under age 18 can volunteer for this opportunity only if they have a signed permission form.
