Dear Winter,

We surrender, we bend the knee and whatever other way one can admit defeat.

Our outreach services to Hill City, McGrath and Jacobson, as well as our delivery services have been cancelled for today, Thursday, February 7th. We apologize for the inconvenience and currently plan to resume services on Friday, February 8th. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

PS. Everyone hoping for “Real Winter” please stop.

All Locations Closing Today at 5PM

East Central Regional Library will be closing all locations today, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 5:00 p.m. It’s in the best interest of the communities we serve, and our staff, to encourage everyone to stay home and safe.

Libraries will also be closed all day tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 30. The Outreach stop at Isanti City Hall is also closed tomorrow.

All due dates will be extended to Thursday and holds expiring today and Wednesday will be extended to Thursday as well.

 

Meteorologist Belinda Jensen coming to Cambridge Library

Belinda Jensen is coming to the Cambridge Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12. The chief meteorologist for KARE 11 News enjoys sharing her passion and enthusiasm for weather-related topics through presentations that show school age students the science behind weather. She also helps kids understand the mystery of weather with her series of children’s books featuring the character “Bel the Weather Girl,” who is already fascinated with the weather as an 8-year-old.

This program is recommended for ages 7 and up along with their families. Sponsored by East Central Regional Library and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Libraries welcome KARE 11 Meteorologist Belinda Jensen

Belinda Jensen, chief meteorologist for KARE 11 News, is coming to the Mora Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14.

Belinda enjoys sharing her passion and enthusiasm for weather-related topics through presentations that show school age students the science behind weather. She also helps kids understand the mystery of weather with her series of children’s books featuring the character “Bel the Weather Girl,” who is already fascinated with the weather as an 8-year-old.

Belinda also will make appearances at the Aitkin Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, and the Cambridge Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12.
