The totals are in for our first annual Spring for Libraries Fundraiser, which ran from April 1-30, 2022. Thanks to the generous support of our local communities, we raised $11,225.05 across the region!

The following branch locations met and/or exceeded their fundraising goals and will be using the donations to purchase the Wish List items they chose at the beginning of the fundraising campaign:

Chisago Lakes Area Library– live, in-person children’s program titled, “Science Tellers.”

Mora Public Library– a children’s area refresh with fresh paint, décor, and accessories.

Pine City Public Library– an outdoor fountain for the patio.

Princeton Area Library -a large Storytime rug for the children’s area.

Rush City Public Library– toys for the children’s area, including a Duplo table, Duplo plates, Duplo blocks, a play mat, and a toy car set.

Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library- Summer Discovery Program prizes for this year’s program titled, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path.”

We are so excited to now bring these wish list items to life in our branches! Stay tuned for updates as these new items are purchased and programs are scheduled. Thank you again to our generous donors who helped us reach our goals!
