Returning Materials

As select branches make plans to reopen, we’re working to clear our holds shelves and start getting materials back. Here’s what you need to know:

Outdoor book drops are open at all branches, so you can return materials any time that’s convenient.
No items are due before June 30th.
Items checked out June 10th or later are due back based on when they were originally checked out. You’ll get a reminder email three days before materials are due.
You can log in to your account to see what books you have checked out and confirm due dates.
If you are unable to return your items by the due date, please contact us to make other arrangements.

Computers By Appointment

The Aitkin Public Library and the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library have begun offering computer access by appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, wait at the front entrance of the library and maintain at least six feet of social distance from others. At your scheduled time, a staff person will meet you to let you into the building.
About the Appointment:

Please refrain from browsing the bookshelves, books, or any other physical resources.
A restroom will be available for you to use.
You will be able to print. We request that you bring exact change if possible.
Computer appointments are for one hour and cannot be extended.
For your safety and ours, library staff will not approach your computer to provide assistance.
Per East Central Regional Library’s Social Distancing Policy all those entering the building will need to wear a face covering. Masks will be available if you need one.

If you’ve experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 in the 14 days before your appointment, please call back to cancel or reschedule. Symptoms include:

Fever (100.4° F or higher), or feeling feverish
A new sore throat
Chills
New muscle aches
A new cough
New headache
Shortness of breath
New loss of smell or taste

Appointments for computers by appointment will be available:
Monday – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
Tuesday – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
Thursday- 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Curbside hold pickup will be available:
Monday – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wed – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday – 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
You can call to schedule an appointment at (218) 927-2339 Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or you can schedule your computer appointment online as well as your curbside pickup appointment.
Curbside pick will now be available by appointment and holds we be waiting on a table near the front door or inside the front door during inclement weather, during your appointment window.

Wyoming Computers by Appointment

Appointments for computers by appointment will be available:
Tuesday – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thursday – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturday- 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Curbside hold pickup will be available:
Monday – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday – 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You can call to schedule an appointment at (651) 462-9001 Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or you can schedule your computer appointment online as well as your curbside pickup appointment.

Services Changes in Cambridge

As we continue to move the Cambridge Public Library to the new location, 111 Dellwood Street N. we have a few updates to how services will be impacted and when.
Curbside
Curbside pickup will resume Wednesday, June 24th at the new location. Curbside will now be available via scheduled appointment on Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Once you have received a notification that your hold is ready for pickup you can schedule an appointment online or call (763) 689-7390 Monday thru Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Then arrive at your appointment time and park in the east parking lot. Your holds will be available on a table near the main entrance off Dellwood (in case of inclement weather, holds will be on a table inside the lobby doors).
WiFi
At the previous location WiFi will be disconnected on Thursday, June 25th.
At the new location WiFi is already available in the west parking lot. WiFi access is not available in the east parking lot.
Materials Return
All materials should be returned to the new location, 111 Dellwood St. N. The materials return is located off the east parking lot near the garage doors. Oversized items that do not fit in the return must be returned during curbside pick up hours, there will be a bin near the materials return for these oversized items.
