Don’t miss Norm Barnhart and his comedy magic show!

Loosen your shoelaces because Norm Barnhart’s comedy magic will knock your socks off. Bring the family and see for yourself during a special performance at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in the lower level meeting room at Cambridge Public Library.

Barnhart has presented comedy and magic full time for almost 30 years across Minnesota, Wisconsin and in all 50 states. He delights audiences of all ages with his clean humor and impressive sleight of hand.

“I love to hear the sound of laughter and the looks of astonishment that comedy magic brings,” Barnhart says. “It’s fun entertainment that audiences across Minnesota and Wisconsin have enjoyed for years.”

ECRL Legacy Programming Presents the Minnesota Starwatch Party

Join us for a special Legacy program as meteorologist, Mike Lynch, presents his Minnesota Starwatch Program.  This two hour program is recommended for ages 6 and up.  The program will include an indoor presentation followed by quality time outside under the heavens, weather permitting.

Get to know the constellations like The Big Bear, Cygnus the Swan, Pegasus the Winged Horse, Aquila the Eagle and many more. Mike will bring a fleet of telescopes, including two of the biggest mobile telescopes in Minnesota for close up views of planets, star clusters, nebulae, and other wonders in late summer and early autumn skies. He’ll also bring a video-telescope system for ultra-deep view of galaxies and more!  The program is free and open to the public.telescope_arsonal

Fun and laughs happen fast when comic magician, Jerry Frasier, comes to thJerry Frasier Pice library! With a jolt of imagination and amazement, Jerry encourages all ages to exercise their magical minds. This national entertainer wows audiences all over the country, from New York to L. A. and everywhere in between. Described as a comedy Houdini, Jerry’s distinctively energetic magic is fun for the whole family! Everyone will be involved in the craziness! A lucky volunteer from the audience may even float on air…no wires…no forklift…no kidding!
