Are you looking to understand the tragedy occurring in Ukraine? Your library is here to get you the sources you need.
Before you search, be aware that there is a lot of misinformation and disinformation out there. So when you look at a source, double check that the post you’re seeing is the original source of the clips and sounds it is using.
Also check the date of the post! Plenty of older footage from 2014 is getting a lot of attention, but is from an earlier conflict.
Did you know that the library has a News and Current Event page including links to Fact Checking Sources? Click here to check it out.
We also recommend fact checking sources such as PolitiFact, FactCheck, and Snopes. All of these fact checkers are free and require no log in.
